Jay-Z Buys 100 Copies Of Nipsey Hussle's "Crenshaw" Mixtape
L.A. rapper Nipsey Hussle shook things up this week with the release of his new mixtape, Crenshaw. While he would eventually release the project online for free, the first fans to get their hands on it forked over $100 a pop to get signed copies during a midnight release.
Supporting new ideas, Jay Z purchased 100 copies of the project... and posted a photo of stack of CDs at his Life+Times website with the title "#NewRules."
Nipsey hopped on Twitter to thank the hip-hop mogul, while expressing his disapproval for major deals.
U rap niggas let me know how them 360's work fa y'all. young bosses follow me. #FUCCTHAMIDDLEMAN
