Ab-Soul Threatens To Leave Black Hippy

Ab-Soul is speaking out on the preferential treatment that some blogs are showing Kendrick Lamar when it comes to press about their rap group, Black Hippy.

Earlier today, it was announced that Black Hippy (Kendrick Lamar, Jay Rock, Schoolboy Q and Ab-Soul) would be covering XXL’s October/November issue, and of course, rap blogs and music sites posted the cover on their respective outlets.

Soulo noticed a trend in various sites referring the rap group as “Kendrick Lamar & Black Hippy” and he took to twitter to let everyone know that he wasn’t feeling it. He told everyone he would “remove” himself from group if the blogs/music sites didn’t stop printing “Kendrick Lamar & Black Hippy”.

If y'all keep printing "Kendrick Lamar & Black Hippy" I will remove myself from the group. Thanks.
