There are new media player functions such as playback controls, track info, volume control, and talk of a video player as well. Another hidden feature is the ability to lock the device, this function would work by the user swiping in a specific pattern much like you would do on a phone lock screen. But the biggest feature that everyone is talking about has a lot to do with the word “Boutique.” Google Glass currently is lacking an app store and rumors speculate that the update code “Boutique” hints at being the centralized app store. This is big news for both Google Glass and its users!
