Damon Dash Owes $2.8 Mil In Back Taxes

At one point in time, Damon Dash appeared to be hip hop’s next big mogul. A little over ten years ago, everybody aspiring to break into the hip hop industry looked up to the big homie, Dame Dash. Roc-A-Fella Records was the powerhouse everybody wanted to be with or be just like.

But, nothing can last forever and just like with those beloved sitcoms, Roc-A-Fella Records ended. Damon Dash apparently got the short end of the stick when Jay-Z stayed at Roc-A-Fella and Def Jam and he reportedly lost everything. Broke rumors persist about Damon Dash over the past couple of years and now there are more.

Over the weekend, the tone was much different than the week before. Last week, it was a big celebration, this week there were more rumors of Damon Dash being broke. Tax liens from 2005 and 2011 have Damon Dash owing $2.8 million dollars in back taxes, which places him back in the headlines.
